I had a chance to talk to Tony who has a podcast over at Marketing in Korea (also available on iTunes). Tony talks to local business people for tips on marketing and doing business in Korea. He invited me on his show to talk about my 17 years in the English industry in Korea and, of course, I had to bring up the great successes we've had with the Seoul Real Estate Investing Meetup.
He mistakenly refers to it as "my meetup" at times, but as you all know, this is something that I help co-organize with John Van Uytven and Ben Hauser, so all credit to our team for constantly growing and improving this group.
And of course, thanks to our members like Jacob Michaels, who organizes the Cashflow Game Days, and Josh McNicolls, who helps to pitch in whatever is needed, and our great speakers from the past, including Sandra Roddy, Robert Medlock, and Jeff Yu to name but a few.
And of course, truly, this group belongs to all of you- its members - without whom, we'd have no reason to exist! As fellow member, Andrew Lee, mentioned to me at coffee the other day, this is one of the largest investment focused meetup groups in Korea.
