Imagine this: You're over 40 years old. You're living in Korea, and you decide you want to invest in US Real estate. Only you don't have any experience in real estate investing, you don't have any networks, and you have no idea where to invest. In fact, you're so new to investing that you actually send over $20,000 via wire transfer to a person's LLC without a contract in place. Sounds like the beginning of another "newbie real estate horror story," right?
This Saturday, the Seoul Real Estate Investing meetup is hosting another Happy Hour event to give everyone a chance to mix and mingle and talk real estate.
I had a chance to talk to Tony who has a podcast over at Marketing in Korea (also available on iTunes). Tony talks to local business people for tips on marketing and doing business in Korea. He invited me on his show to talk about my 17 years in the English industry in Korea and, of course, I had to bring up the great successes we've had with the Seoul Real Estate Investing Meetup.
